Simply, Irritating.
This day has been really unusual. I was able to go home early. I was finally able to see my labs and dearest friend, Cesca. I fought the urge of buying stuff impulsively, and I was able to do everything that I need to do.
It’s been a fine, FINE!, fine day.
When I got home, I found Manang Marlyn at our sala, watching TV Patrol. I sat at the sofa and watched the news. Something irritated me. The Sports portion featured Manny Pacquiao and his recent victory. Of course, it’s not him that irritated me, it’s the one who was interviewing him.

During your first round mukhang very confident ka, Manny at hindi ka kinabahan.. Can you please make kwento..?
IS IT THAT HARD TO SAY “CAN YOU PLEASE TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR FIGHT?”
WHAT KIND OF REPORTER ARE YOU?! Dang. If you’ve seen the news today, you might have not noticed.. but I seldom watch TV sooooo I’m ultra-sensitive to the shows. Hahaha. Peace.
Another Irritating Incident With The Beloved TV
Soooo, there’s this new commercial(well, new to me) I saw after the Sports report. It’s an alcoholic drink which promotes its “strong beer“. What’s irritating about it is how it poses the idea that men are stronger. I mean, come on, it’s not fair how you stereotype men as the “strong” one.
Their tag line is: Men should act like men. Strong beer for the strong man.
Something like that..
Isn’t that irritating?
