Happy “Ber” Month!!

It’s the 1st day of September.. and what does that mean? Well, aside from the fact the almost a quarter of my friends celebrate their birthdays in September (HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVERONE), September is also a marker that the Yuletide season is coming!!

When it’s September, we suddenly get the feeling that the weather is changing, everyone is generally cheery, and there are longer nights than days. I wonder if it really is that way, or we are just affected by how we perceive things.

Either way, I still have a lukewarm feeling towards this time of the month. It makes me nervous, excited, happy and sad all at the same time. Maybe because it’s the idea of time flying by so fast, or maybe because I just don’t want to join the  bandwagon. Who knows..

But hey, I’m not saying that I want to be like the Grinch and burst everybody else’s bubbles, no.. I also like celebrating September.. Maybe it just feels so different this year..
